However, his on-field accomplishments during his final years of college football became overshadowed by his 40-yard dash time, as his mark of around 4.70 seconds led to him going undrafted. The explosion came in his senior year in 1980 when he led college football with 11 interceptions. His junior year was Walls' first as a starter, but he made a noticeable impact with four interceptions. Walls ended up at Grambling State University, but he didn't receive much playing time in his first two seasons. He played one year of high school football at Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas, a season he described as "decent," but hardly enough of a pedigree to pop up on many college football recruiting radars in 1976. Walls, a 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist, took the circuitous route to becoming a four-time Pro Bowl selection who led the NFL in interceptions three times (1981, 19) while playing for Hall of Fame coach Tom Landry. They also had some Hall of Famers and Hall of Fame finalists from decades ago, like wide receiver Drew Pearson, safety Cliff Harris, cornerback Everson Walls, offensive lineman Nate Newton and defensive back Cornell Green. There have been relatively recent contributors like quarterback Tony Romo, wide receiver Miles Austin, wide receiver Cole Beasley, offensive lineman Ronald Leary, safety Barry Church and kicker Dan Bailey. The Dallas Cowboys have long been one of the NFL's best at finding undrafted talent during both the Tom Landry Era (1960-1988) and the Jerry Jones Era (1989-present). ![]()

![]() ![]() Both Fan Hub and Fan Controllers come with multiple 3-pin or 4-pin connectors for adding more fans to them. Also, these Fan Controllers also allow automatic speed adjustment based on the temperature. A fan speed controller gives you total control over your case fans and you can lower the fan speed in winters and make the PC silent in operation, and set the speed higher or maximum during summers for proper cooling of your components. So, if you want to install more case fans in your PC case then you have to need a Fan Hub and if you want more fans plus you want to control their speeds too then you need a Fan Controller for it.Ī fan hub will allow you to connect more fans using a single power connector (generally a 4-pin Molex or SATA connector) whereas a Fan Speed Controller allows you to add more fans and you can change the speed of each fan individually. Do the same on the opposite end of the same side and it should come free.Įnd result.Budget and most of the mid-range motherboards usually have a limited number of 3-pin case fan connectors and 4-pin PWM connectors on them. This is obviously harder with the wires in there, but try to get the blade bit under the edge and lever it out and off. No convenient slot on this one, but they're similar nevertheless. Insert a blade bit and lift, then slide the driver in further so it is more or less under or beyond the middle of the cap and lever it up (pushing down on the driver so that the blade bit is lifting the cap up from underneath. This one conveniently has a slot on one side to insert a blade bit. Another one those things, Hoover vs Vacuum cleaner, Teflon vs non-stick surface To me a 'molex' connector is always the 4 pin 12v power connector that we love or hate. I have two slightly different examples of the same style of self crimping inline connector, neither of which are Molex branded and hence may be different again. The 'cap' on the circled 'these in the middle' is sitting directly above in the photo. ![]() I have plenty of sacrificial stuff here if you'd like me to experiment with you. Īctually, I just noticed another variety: pins/sockets like that on the 'speaker' connector to your motherboard, where you have to 'lift' the little plastic tabs while extracting the pins as opposed to pressing the metal tabs/pins down like the fan header connector. If you're talking about the 'self-crimping' variety, then removing them is very easy, but I guess you're not because I don't think you would be asking the question. You can see the fan header style referred to above here. I've thought about making up my own leads from scratch too, particularly given I have modular PSU's I can basically 'crimp' the molex pins of the molex and PSU connectors and use the same right-angle 'self-crimping' SATA power connectors that 'splice' For instance, with three drives in a row, I want three connectors about an inch apart, not 3-6 inches! The distance between connectors is never appropriate for me. I'm interested too because I would like to customise some of my leads. ![]() On some converters and splitters that I have they are a push pin variety similar to the sockets on a fan header plug for instance. The last connector is the molded type and doesn't appear to be 'servicable' but could easily be cut off and replaced. Most typical, and those used on the TT ToughPower and Enermax Liberty are the right-angle 'self-crimping' type, i.e., the contacts of the connector 'cut' through the insulation of the wires when both parts are pressed together. I've just had a look at the various SATA power connectors I have here and I can identify three different types. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a direct download link full offline setup and standalone installer of PhotoScore Ultimate 2018 that you are just going to download now by clicking on the download button given at the bottom of this page. Give it a try and let me know if you run into any problems. In 15 minutes, Zapier will check your Airtable, see all the new entries, and run the zap. The final step is to go back to Airtable and “check” the boxes in the column “Import!”. And by “hand-write”, I mean choose “Custom Request” from the bottom of the Zapier menu. In looking at your screen shot, you may have to hand-write the JSON payload – that’s how I did it, and it works, so I’m actually not sure about the other technique. It’ll take a little time, so for now let me try to help via text. Hey video tutorial is a fine idea! I’m also using this same approach to do a batch CSV import into Webflow, so I can include that as well. ![]() The point is that spatial/algorithmic reverbs (e.g. Well, I make an exception for plate delay and plate reverb on synth pads etc. I don't use reverb on backing tracks - that's for home listening only!!!! With a vamp I suppose that could just be played live with a click, and the next chunk could be cued up waiting to begin whenever inspiration strikes the performer. What kind of earphones do you use for a live situation? Are there vamps or anything that go right into a track? I think with DP there is no way to change the form on the fly (add one more chorus to solo over, for instance), however, for a fusion set (as opposed to straight-ahead), I suppose the form of the piece is more planned out, so arranging on the fly is not necessary. With the chunks and cueing possibilities of DP, is seems like it can just be used live. I think I have tried taking off all reverb, but maybe I could try again. I have tried mixing things on separate channels like mentioned in some of the other responses, yet I always get a little bleed from the click track to the other channel. My initial reason for getting DP was because people said it was so good to use in live situations, and I was aware that it was used by Pat Metheny and other artists who I admire. What kind of live stuff do you do? Rock, jazz, other? I've been fishing around for info on how to set-up something like this on other threads. It's great for tap tempoing in as an electric guitarist playing live and I am also of the belief that it really tightens up vocalists too (who can be wandery and sloppy). For example, you have your drummer cut out completely and all stay in time (without the classic hihat or ride keeping things together). It opens up lots of opportunities for dynamics that you just don't have otherwise. Personally, for the live stuff I do (we're all on in ears) I make everyone have the click. In terms of the click - you can either record it to a track and then select that track's output to be a different hardware output than the stereo mix OR just route the click from the metronome options to a different buss or output. Especially if you have a stereo mix and a click. I think if you have a portable Mac - it's nice to bring it to run the tracks. Both of my sound sources were initially from MOTU Ethno, but then switched to BFD's Percussion pack.Ĭonleycd wrote:I've done this frequently. ![]() It took a few cowbell pitches/sounds before I found a good one. For cues, I use a cowbell in quarter notes followed by a bar of eighths. I went through HUNDREDS of sounds before I found one that has so far passed the test with every drummer I've thrown it at, and that is a temple block. There's a good reason for this, and it has to do with timbre, pitch, envelope, dryness/wetness, etc. Regardless of which of these scenarios you are going for, I have not found the DP click sounds (and I've tried them all) to be helpful to a drummer during a recording session, which leads me to believe they wouldn't be helpful at a gig either. ![]() It isn't a completely original idea as it was inspired by SOS articles, but I took it further and also discarded some of their unhelpful advice (such as beat subdivisions) that threw off every drummer I worked with. multi-track and/or live DP "click" sounds, let me know, as I developed an approach that works so well that several others have adopted it after I wrote it up.
